3AM Theatre is a multi-purpose space located in an unsuspecting block of Astoria. Nestled within a small-but-growing arts hub – including the nearby Noguchi Museum and Socrates Sculpture Park – 3AM is dedicated to providing a space for artists that is run by artists. The 1,600 sqft room functions like a Swiss army knife. From full-blown theatrical shows and performances that range from circus and physical theater to one-person plays and ensemble dance shows, 3AM Theatre is equipped to provide a high-end lighting package, audio systems, and front of house support for any event.
Additionally, 3AM is available for all types of photo and video shoots and rehearsals. The layout of the space is customizable and can be set up as a blackbox theatre, white brick and wood floor studio, and any combination in between. Large corporate clients can expect the same hands-on and friendly approach that our small individual clients praise. 3AM Theatre is not only a space and venue, it’s also a performance company! Our company fuses dance, theatre, and contemporary circus with innovative lighting design, live music, and surreal sets to redefine what contemporary circus can be.
