How’s the title for a game of Trivial Pursuit? We would guess that there’s a slim chance of you guessing this one. We’ll give you a few associated songs that may help; Mrs. Robinson, Cecilia and The Sound of Silence. Jogging your memory yet? No, it’s not Paul Simon BUT it IS Art Garfunkel! One half of the team that drew 600,000 people to the Colosseum in Rome (no that is not a typo) is performing in Times Square. Right in our backyard! At 76 years old, Mr. Garfunkel has not lost a step and we cannot wait for this event.

Blessed with what the New York Times described as a “beautiful countertenor,” singer Art Garfunkel has made an indelible mark on the music world as both a solo artist and half of the unrivaled Simon & Garfunkel. He has also enjoyed a successful film career, published a book of poetry and released 12 solo albums, the most recent being Some Enchanted Evening in 2007. In late 2017 he released an autobiography, What Is It All But Luminous: Notes from an Underground Man (Alfred A. Knopf). Blue Note Entertainment Group is Proud to present Art Garfunkel at The Town Hall for the 2018 Blue Note Jazz Festival.

The Festival includes over 100 events in five venues throughout New York City. The 2018 Sony Presents Blue Note Jazz Festival is happening through June 30th. In addition to Art, the festival is featuring: Chris Botti, Gregory Porter, Al Di Meola, Gordon Lightfoot, Lettuce, The Manhattan Transfer, Eddie Palmieri, Tab Benoit, Sergio Mendes, Robert Cray, Bilal, Southside Johnny & More.
