While the title of the this post may have you thinking that this is a review of the movies Animal House or Old School, this is not a story about a frat house.
The event we are writing about DOES include beer and DOES include animals; just not the kind with big belly’s and specializes in keg stands and beer pong. The animals we are referring to are in fact, animals. Real life animals. And where do you find these animals? The zoo! Again, not another fraternity house reference.
As you know from reading this website, we love beer and for the first time ever, there will be a craft beer festival at Central Park. More exciting than the event in the park is that it’s in the ZOO!
Lions, Tigers and Brews is the name of the event. This is not your average craft beer festival, Lions, Tigers and Brews takes you on a walk on the wild side… literally. You’ll simultaneously bring out your inner kid, all while sipping on your favorite adult beverage- craft beer!
Guests will enjoy brews from over 45 select craft breweries while exploring all the diverse wildlife the Central Park Zoo has to offer! Hungry like Hippo? We got you covered – New York City’s best eats will be on site to tame that hunger!
For us, the best part about this event is that it’s a night! Think about it…a zoo, at night, with a delicious beer in hand. We know. Mark your calendars — June 19th and 20th.
