The famous Plaza Hotel located in the heart of the Upper East side in New York welcomes guests to experience the Ballet Hispanico Gala honoring Randy Falco; President and CEO of the Univision Network and celebrating the School of Dance. As we gather up in the Hotel Grand Ballroom, every area of the Ballroom is filled with people and an aura of good energy.
A few minutes later into the cocktail hour, the first group of dancers take the stage and it is a phenomenal display of strict discipline, passion and creativity throughout the performances. One favorite moment is the Flamenco- a beautiful execution from the beginning to the end, a group combination of Modern Contemporary followed by two women performing the Chacarera.
The entire experience is an exhilarating breath of fresh air as self expression through Dance ignites the soul and spirit to come alive. If you plan to attend a similar event in the future, this is a black tie event and tickets quickly sell out; plan your attendance with sufficient notice. A fair warning, once you experience the Ballet Hispanico Gala for the first time, you will be revisiting in the future.
