@ Housing Works Bookstore Cafe – 126 Crosby Street

Using H.L. Mencken and Randolph Bourne as their guiding lights, editors Thomas Frank and Keith White founded the rigorously polemical Baffler in 1988. Though the journal’s publication was paused in 2007, it has since made a comeback; tonight’s event celebrates its 19th issue. David Graeber, Chris Lehmann, Barbara Ehrenreich and new editor John Summers appear tonight to read from the magazine’s latest obsessive, heady dissections.
