While it’s not quite summer or spring just yet, BBQ season is around the corner which means that our minds go to all thing’s meat. As you have come to know, our world centers around food and its basically what drives us around town. One of the events that we look forward to all year round is Brisket King! It’s a competition where you win. Always.
The team behind the event is very excited to celebrate the 12th edition of Brisket King(R) NYC outdoors at Pig Beach BBQ Queens, in Astoria NYC, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 6:00 PM (5pm VIP and guests). They’re in the new, bigger location of their friends at Pig Beach BBQ. A most appropriate venue for the occasion.
Brisket King(R) NYC – For more than a decade, this annual brisket tasting event and competition has been a highlight for any BBQ lover! It’s been recommended by Eater NY, NYCBBQ.com, Gothamist, NY Post and other major media (including us)!
Now it kicks off Food Karma NYC’s annual Triple Crown of NYC BBQ events!
Food Karma Projects brings together local and regional chefs, pitmasters, distillers, brewers and other artisan makers for year round tasting events. Fan favorites like Brisket King (R), Rib King NYC, and Pig Island NYC – the Triple Crown of NYC BBQ – are delicious staples of the NYC barbecue scene.
The all-inclusive event will feature 20 chefs and pitmasters cooking up the juiciest brisket you can find plus craft beer, hard cider wine, and spirits. This will be an outdoor event, rain or shine. Expect the variety of chefs and dishes you’ve come to love at past Brisket King(R) events – now outdoors in Astoria NYC!
After the awards are presented, stay for the informal afterparty and enjoy the food and drink at Pig Beach (not included in admission price).
