In the mid-’80s, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax turned the rock world on its ear with one lightning-fast thrash-metal salvo after another, and in the early ’90s, three of those bands became gold- or platinum-selling artists and one became a household name. Now, after 30 years of rivalry and competition, they have put their differences aside to celebrate their histories.
