We hope that most our readers enjoy the program as much as we do.  Heck, most of us commute to the office using Citibike!  We have nothing bad to say about the program except for their geographic limitations.

If you were one of the many who were affected by the shutdown over the weekend, there is a silver lining.   The program was halted so they could update their software program.  This is not like your iPhone update.

The great news is that changes are on the way!  In the coming months, you can expect all 6,000 bikes to be repaired, new technology that will make docking easier, valets at busy stations to accept the bikes (you would totally understand this if you ever tried to dock at BPC) and the best part: about 90 new stations in Long Island City, Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bedford-Stuyvesant. After that: the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Harlem, Red Hook and Astoria!

You can’t beat the price, your bike doesn’t get stolen and you get some exercise!  Stop complaining about the lost parking spaces and jump on board big blue!
