Unless you’re enjoying a life of leisure and do not have a 9 to 5 or a requirement to be somewhere, you are likely stuck in a culture. The word ‘stuck’ might sound bad but its not how we meant it. Most of us are guilty of getting caught up in groupthink or ‘the way that it is’. It’s society and its deeply rooted. We deal with it every day. People are hesitant to call us because we’re viewed as an ‘external resource’ or a consultant and for whatever reason, that has a bad connotation.

Whether you’re planning an event or just need some advice, we strongly recommend getting a perspective outside of the walls that you operate in for most of your week. Even if you decide that you don’t like what you hear, having that external view is critical to the goal of ongoing improvement (if that’s your thing).

We work with many large organizations who have all the resources that we have and more. They don’t call us for our resources, they call us for our perspective (and maybe to see if they can score a better deal). Larger organizations typically do things that large organizations do and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you are a corporate event planner, you probably have this nailed down systematically. That is OK. What we’re advocating for is speaking to someone (ahem!) that works with midsized clients and smaller clients. Because of the various types of corporate event planning we handle in New York City, we have a depth that is near impossible to have when you’re only working with your own organization. Again, not a bad thing.

New York Events will never cost you a thing. We only earn a commission, paid by the venue if you book an event through us. With that said, we’re here to be a resource for you. We’re always happy to bounce ideas around and massage thoughts until you get the result you’re looking for. Finally, we are not trying to take your job. On the contrary, we’re trying to help you look great to your boss!

Call us today and lets talk events.
