@ Queen Sofia Spanish Institute – 684 Park Avenue

This exhibit examines the paintings of turn-of-the-20th-century artist Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida alongside the Spanish clothes he represented. The show, envisioned by designer Oscar de la Renta and curated by Vogue’s André Leon Talley, features more than ten art works and 30-plus garments, in addition to clothes from contemporary designers that illustrate the influence of Spanish styles.
