Le Chêne marks the first solo project for co-owners and husband and wife team, Alexia Duchêne and Ronan Duchêne Le May. Duchêne began her culinary career at 15 years old training in famed Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Taillevent, Frenchie, Passerini and Fera at Claridge’s, among others. In 2021, she was a semi-finalist on Top Chef France, becoming the youngest female chef to make it to this point in the competition, which took her career to new heights, gaining her the respect of some of the most famous French chefs in the world, including Alain Ducasse, Yannick Alléno, Jean-François Piège and Stéphanie Le Quellec. After more than a decade of cooking in the most prestigious kitchens in Europe, Duchêne moved to Manhattan to further her culinary vision.
