As you know, food is by far our favorite topic to talk about here so this is a very fun event to write about and hopefully convince you to attend. If you have been following us over the years, you know that we are huge fans of events produced by The Village Voice. From beer to food to spirits, they do it right. They manage to give you a perfect assortment of whatever the theme is and give you enough time to try everything on display. Our favorite part of their events is meeting the people behind the brands; you know, the brewers, the chefs, the distillers, the brains behind the operation.
This Friday, The Village Voice does it again with their Eighth Annual Choice Eats event. All Choice Eats guests will be able to enjoy unlimited sampling of the best dishes from 68 restaurants reviewed and heralded in the Village Voice along with desserts, complimentary craft beer pairings, wine and liquor beverages. Along with tasty samples, guests will enjoy music from DJ Jonathan ‘JC’ Clarke of Q104.3 NY.
Some of the restaurants you can expect to find include The Blue Stove, Brucie, Bustan, Butter Lane, Carlo’s Bakery, Coppelia, Delaware and Hudson, Doughnut Plant, Edi & The Wolf, Egg, El Atoradero, Fay Da Bakery, Fort Defiance, Genuine, Grandaisy Bakery, Juliette, Los Tacos No 1, Luca & Bosco Ice Cream, Papa’s Kitchen, Pickle Shack, Recette, Rubirosa, Sigmund’s Pretzels, Sugar Couture, Venturo Osteria, Veselka Restaurant, Wilma Jean, and Xe May Sandwich Shop.
Again, the event is on Friday, March 13th (Yes, Friday the 13th) at the Metropolitan Pavilion located at 125 W. 18th Street. There aren’t many tickets left so we suggest you get them NOW by visiting http://bit.ly/ChoiceEats2015
We have been salivating for weeks and counting down the days. Hope to see you there!
