The Museum of art is extraordinary in size and scope and if a visitor is planning to explore the museum it is necessary that he spends the entire day there. This museum was built around 1870 and till now it contains more than three million works of art whether it is pertaining to the ancient times or modern era. All the work of art under the schedule will include exhibition of the Furniture, silver, glass, ceramics, textiles of late 17th to early 20th century, portraits, landscapes, Folk art, sculptures, Ivory and objects of precious metals, arms and armor for horses, men and children, weapons, objects and monuments of all the rituals and utensils for daily life. The admission fee is from $12 to $27 depending upon adults and seniors, however, all the New York City public school students can see the museum for free.
