With the Official Start of Summer around the corner comes Summer Movie Season. There are big releases on the horizon for those looking to spend some time in the air conditioning and see their favorite actors.

Our office struggles with this concept because all year long we look forward to the summer so that we can be outside. Whether it’s on a beach, in our parks or just wandering around our wonderful concrete streets, we want the outdoors.

Lucky for us, we can do both.  New York is home to many outdoor movie nights. One of our favorites is hosted at Bryant Park.

Bryant Park has hosted summer movie screenings for more than two decades. This year’s series is presented by Netflix and one of the most popular in the City.  It goes down every Monday beginning at 5pm with the main event beginning around sunset.  Bring your supplies, treats, blanket and a date and enjoy the romance under the stars entertained by what is happening on screen.

Don’t feel like lugging things around the city. Don’t worry! Food items are for sale curated by Hester Street Fair on the Fountain Terrace, and beer and wine is available for purchase on the eastern end of the Lawn.

This year’s slate is a fun one and is as follows:

June 24: Audience Choice
July 1: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018)
July 8: Carrie (1976)
July 15: Bad Boys (1995)
July 22: Coming To America (1988)
July 29: Goodfellas (1990)
August 5: Anchorman (2004)
August 12: Audience Choice

You may notice ‘Audience Choice’ on the calendar. This is dictated by us!
