at The Museum at FIT (7th Avenue & 27th Street, New York City)

If you didn’t get a chance to see “Savage Beauty,” the Alexander McQueen exhibition at the Met, or just can’t get enough of staring at beautiful clothes, FIT’s Daphne Guinness exhibit should satiate your fashion appetite. Guinness, an heiress to the Guinness family and a fashion icon in her own right, was a close friend of the late McQueen and his late muse Isabella Blow. The exhibit of her incredible fashion collection will feature two dozen McQueen garments as well as haute couture from Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Lacroix, and Valentino, demi-couture by Azzedine Alaïa, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, and Rick Owens, and futuristic styles by young designers such as Gareth Pugh. – Village Voice
