Winsome soprano Nadler tones down the reverb and comes across as an even more approachable sprite on her powerfully intimate, and eponymous, new album. Like a less-affected Joanna Newsom, Nadler uncovers the epic in the personal, with an occasional country twist. Boston’s Mike Fiore seems to have gathered up all that spare reverb for his second Faces on Film album, Some Weather.
