Come see Mary Alouette & the Lower East Side Hot Club.  Mary Alouette was kidnapped by the beautiful music and dangerous rhythm of French gypsies. An encounter with Joel Beaver on guitar and Terence Murren on upright bass further ignited the fire within and desire to play gypsy jazz in the style of legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli. Her compelling vocals with the band’s blazing solos and delicate melodies will drag you into this mysterious craze.
