at The Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place, New York City)

In this exhibition, photographer Yuri Dojc explores a school from his native Slovakia that has remained practically untouched since its Jewish residents were forced into concentration camps in 1943. His images of the school, synagogues and cemeteries are complemented by Katya Krausova’s film documenting Dojc’s journey through eastern Slovakia.
