Get it Before it ends! Don’t ask why, but I was walking past the Today Show while Jason Mraz was performing and I had a New Yorker-Tourist Ah Ha moment. Like hello, I live here and do not take advantage of these awesome summer concerts at all! I love the music but can’t stand being in a crowd of tourists. The music and price outweigh the tourists bumping into me. We love you tourists but look up!

I watched whatever was left of the Mraz show and immediately Googled the remainder of the 2014 summer Concert Series calendar. The big one is Usher on September 5th but Maroon 5 and OneRepublic aint so shabby. Listed below are the remaining shows at Rockefeller Center this summer.

JULY
22: Five Seconds of Summer
25: OneRepublic

AUGUST
1: Aloe Blacc
8: TBD
15: Neon Trees
22: Hunter Hayes
29: Ariana Grande

SEPTEMBER
1: Maroon 5
5: Usher

If the Today show is not your thing, then walk down the block for some early morning BBQ at the All American Summer Concert Series hosted by Fox.

Fox & Friends host a concert every Friday during the summer from 6 – 9 AM and have FREE Famous Dave’s BBQ!

Here is their remaining schedule:

JULY
25: Twisted Sister

AUGUST
1: Trace Adkins
8: Gin Blossoms
15: The Beach Boys
29:Lee Brice

If morning music and BBQ doesn’t tickle your fancy, there are a ton of other places to see free live music in NYC including Madison Square Park, Bryant Park, and Central Park.

Who says NYC is expensive?! Get out there!
