This town changes in the spring; everyone begins to emerge from hibernation and enjoys the things we missed all winter. It’s a time to start fresh and look forward. While the extent of our interaction with an automobile doesn’t extent beyond a yellow cab or an Uber, the automobile industry shows us the future. And, what better place to showcase what’s to come than New York City?
The New York Auto Show is a unique combination of new automotive ideas, technological innovation, exceptional concept cars and nearly 1,000 of the latest new cars and trucks—all under one roof. Over one million visitors are expected to visit the show this year to see what is truly possible from the auto industry. It’s one of the most exciting events of the year and even if you’re not a ‘car person’, there is something for everyone.
In many ways, the New York Auto Show has become a place for the auto manufacturers to show off some of the technology in the cars; so, if you’re a techie, then this is also right up your alley.
The show includes plenty of beautiful cars that you can see, feel and sit in. There are concept cars and cars you can buy. We don’t know about you but working at New York Events doesn’t pay for some of the supercars we’ll be sitting in soon. Hey, we can dream (and Instagram)! One of the elements that we look forward to most are the World Debuts. Some of the announced debuts include the Hyundai Venue, Lincoln Corsair and Mercedes GLC Coupe.
There is no excuse to miss the show as runs for over a week starting on Friday, April 19th and ending on Sunday, April 28th. The Jacob Javits Convention Center (11th Ave. btwn 34th & 39th St.) is the venue.
