We are living in a time where there are more event cancellations to read about than event happenings. Being an event guide, destination manager and venue booking company, we are not used to staying put.  While we love our office and enjoy spending time here with our team, we would much rather be out there with you, finding fun things to do and securing venues but safety first! But that doesn’t mean that we can’t have some fun in the meantime. We live in a time where there is a ton of entertainment available at our fingertips. And, we also live in a time, where we can bring the party to us!

When things are ‘normal’ we would make plans to go out. That may be a restaurant, bar or show. By now, everyone know that is not possible. New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo announced New York City restaurants and bars will only be able to operate for takeout and delivery. Sort of good news, yes? We’re happy that we can still support our local establishments during these tough times, and we will. To add to that,  Governor Cuomo took it a step further for us (which we greatly appreciate). He is allowing these establishments to offer to-go cocktails and other alcohol—a MUST for New Yorkers staying at home and for businesses that depend on liquor sales to boost their sales. Enjoy it now because it won’t last forever. The Governor noted that this amendment is not permanent and that it is being enacted for this particular time of public health crisis and unprecedented demise of the hospitality industry.

So, while your home enjoying all those monthly subscriptions you work so hard for, support your local, order delivery, and add your favorite cocktails to your panic buys to ease the anxieties we’re all facing.

Cheers!
