We have just about made it! Winters in New York are rough and lucky for us, this one has not been that bad. We’re not out of the woods yet but we can certainly begin looking forward to March events unique to our city.
Like many of you, March Madness is always circled on the calendar and days have been requested off well in advance. It’s a time to track your brackets, talk smack to your friends all while eating unhealthy food and enjoying some suds at your favorite establishment.
Before March Madness and Selection Sunday, there are a slew of Conference Tournaments and lucky for us, New York is home to arguably the most exciting Conference Tournament in the NCAA, The Big East Tournament.
The 2019 BIG EAST Tournament, presented by Jeep, returns to The World’s Most Famous Arena for the 37th consecutive year, March 13-16, 2019. Defending National Champion, Villanova Wildcats, along with the Butler Bulldogs, Creighton Blue Jays, DePaul Blue Demons, Georgetown Hoyas, Marquette Golden Eagles, Providence Friars, St. John’s Red Storm, Seton Hall Pirates and the Xavier Musketeers will battle one another in an all-out, doing whatever it takes battle. Four days, nine games, one awesome college basketball tournament at the Mecca of Basketball, Madison Square Garden.
The Tournament has sold out the last two years. Don’t wait until the last minute to get your tickets. Join us March 13-16, 2019 to see which team will raise the Championship Trophy and receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Take it from us, this event is one of New York’s best. The stakes are high, the competition is fierce and it all goes down in our backyard! Realignment was not fun, but the tournament still rocks. Heck, it’s better than any other basketball you’ll see at The Garden this year, AHEM!
