During the dreary winter season, it sometimes feels like we don’t have much to look forward to. Summer is a while away; the holidays are a distant memory and sports are approaching a lull. While that is true, the lull does not come until the Big Game happens! And that is all going down this weekend. Unfortunately and not surprising, no lo. teams even sniffed the biggest Sunday in sports but with no expectations comes no disappointment. Therefore, we’re just as excited for the Superbowl as we were before the season began!
The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas. What a story! The whole world will be watching, and employers will be feeling the (lack of) productivity come Monday. On February 11th, the defending champs will try to repeat in Super Bowl LVIII. As you know, in our town, there is no shortage of exciting ways to enjoy the big game with many of the city’s bars and restaurants hosting watch parties with food and drink specials. You likely cant go wrong no matter which establishment you choose to watch the Big Game. However, if you are a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs or 49ers, you have some options.
If you are a Kansas City Chiefs fan, John Brown Smokehouse in Long Island City is a Kansas City Chiefs team bar, where KC Chiefs fans in NYC can watch their team. John Brown Smokehouse, shows all Kansas City Chiefs games, serving craft beer and authentic Kansas City style BBQ. San Francisco 49ers fans in New York City watch games at Plug Uglie’s in Manhattan and Kent Ale House in Brooklyn.
As you know, we promote all things New York fairly proudly but, in this case, we will be honest and say that we enjoy the Superbowl at home with family and friends. We load up on Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and invite the most important people over for one of the best Sundays of the year!
