Welcome back to Madison Square Garden and this time we are attending the BNP Paribas Showdown. For those who are not familiar with this event, it is an annual Tennis match. The roster of attendees may vary from one year tot the next, however, it is exhilarating and worth attending if you are able to acquire tickets in advance.
Opening night launches with Victoria Azarenka playing against 2012’s London Summer Olympics and US Tennis Open winner: Serena Williams. In the males category, Juan Martin Del Potro shares the court with Rafael Nadal; the Garden erupts in a crazy uproar when they take the stage.
A few sets in, and Serena wins the first match, and a crowd of fans surround her as she signs autographs and poses for the paparazzi. Other VIP attendees include Bob Harper – extraordinary trainer from the reality show : Biggest Loser.
The BNP Paribas Showdown is fun for the whole family and of course Tennis enthusiasts. It occurs for a few days in March, so make sure to check your calendar next year and you never know who you might see and or sit next to .
