It’s certainly not the holidays but it’s a huge week here in New York City. In many ways this is when things start to come alive around here. Throw away COVID (fingers crossed) and we’re on our way to party town! It began over the weekend with daylight savings time. With that comes more sun and happier people (including us). This week also ushers in a ton of activities and events that we look forward to all year and symbolize the march to summer.
As you all know, the MLBPA and MLB ended their labor negotiations and spring training games begin this week. That means we’re only a few weeks away from trips to Queens and the Bronx to enjoy the boys of summer. This year is especially exciting because the possibility of a Subway Series is real. On the sports kick, its also the start of March Madness. You know, the tournament that kills production at most offices while brackets are busted, and Cinderella’s come to life. The exciting part about March Madness in New York City are the number of sports bars and pubs scattered across the city and your biggest stress becomes sorting through the best ones to watch your favorite team. With the NCAA March Madness tournament approaching, pick your favorite sports bars in the city to watch the games, prepare a bracket, and enjoy some good food and drinks. Lucky for you, we have tons around town!
The research for the perfect bar is real and you may as well kill two birds with one stone this week as we also celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day! The NYC Parade is back and held on March 17th which begins precisely at 11:00 AM. The Parade marches up Fifth Avenue beginning at East 44th Street and ending at East 79th Street. We all know what follows the parade and this year you can do it with college hoops on the screens.
We started by telling you about the most wonderful time of the year and we weren’t kidding! It’s going to be a great week!
