Banc café is one of those places that is suited for the first date-getting-to-know you situations. It is quaint, warm, inviting, and provides a cozy environment destined for a rainy New York City Day. Alternatively, in the warmer months feel free to lounge and be part of the people -watching scene. One list that ranks them as a personal favorite is their two exquisite approaches to your experience. You have the choice between Dinner A (Tapas and Appetizers) or Dinner B (Entrees only with additional “casual dining” food selections. If you are a vegetarian, look no further and stop biting your nails with anxiety, there are options available to satisfy your palate.  My cronies and I tried different dishes, but we shared similar conclusions; this is a spot to visit once if not twice more in the prospective future.

Hold that horn before dismissing the remainder of the information that makes this place cool. The best part is the extended happy hour sessions: Mon-Wed 4pm-10pm Thursdays 4pm-12am and Fridays from 4pm-8pm.  Banc Café, hosts a brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-4pm and private parties. In addition to their late night menu, pitchers of liquid debauchery are available if you dare; if you really want to fire up your taste buds try the Jalapeno Margarita. Overall, it was a great experience and a sea of gratitude to the staff for the kind service. I saved the best perk for last; on Sundays enjoy half prices wine after 4p.m.
