On April 4th, I had the pleasure of attending the WWE Superstars for Sandy Relief event. This even coincided with an auction that WWE had recently started for Hurricane Sandy relief. All proceeds from both the event and the auction went toward the relief fund that WWE put together. I was more than happy to attend this event, seeing as it was for a good cause and also gives fans the change to mingle with various wrestlers, celebrities, and other entertainers. Instead of paying for WWE “Axxess” and waiting in line to meet your favorite wrestler, you had the opportunity to meet he or she while eating small bites and drinking cocktails from the open bar.
Cipriani Wall Street hosted this beautiful event. If you have never visited this Cipriani location, I highly suggest that you do! It is located at 55 Wall Street, New York NY. The venue was the perfect location for such a classy evening, the staff was gracious and welcoming, and there was plenty of space to fit all of us for a few hours. The event lasted for approximately three hours and the fun never stopped! There was a small red carpet, where you could catch your favorite stars arriving. There were two bars, a coat check, and a balcony area for those with a VIP ticket. The DJ was spinning tunes that everyone knew. It was truly a wonderful event and a great way to raise money toward a great cause.
